Discover Milep technique , Minimally Invasive Laser Enucleation

Minimally invasive laser enucleation of the prostate (MILEP) is used for the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). The enucleation is performed using Holmium (HoLEP) or Thulium (ThuLEP) laser through a resectoscope. Subsequently, a morcellator is used via the resectoscope to remove the prostate tissue.

RZ Medizintechnik has designed the thinnest resectoscope in the entire field of medical technology:
Slim HoLEP: 22 Fr.
Ultra Slim HoLEP: 18,5 Fr

Same visualization, better effectiveness, greater flexibility, and minimized potential complications with MILEP — the new, minimally invasive advancement of HoLEP for the treatment of BPH.
  • Allows vaporization, enucleation, hemostasis, and morcellation through the same thinner instrument
  • Reduced surgical time
  • Excellent image clarity and sharpness, providing precision within the surgical field
  • Minimizes trauma to the urethra and complications such as strictures and incontinence
  • Provides flexibility and precision in laser direction, ensuring ideal tissue separation during enucleation

Ultraslim hoLEP is now MiLEP!
