Dr. Heraklis Poulias is a distinguished urologist with extensive clinical and academic experience. He is former Director of the Urology Clinic at “Mitera” Hospital of the HYGEIA Group.
He studied Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he also completed his doctoral dissertation, and he holds the title “Diplôme d’Université” from Strasbourg.
At a scientific level, he has participated in numerous clinical studies and has authored monographs and books in the field of urology.
Dr. Poulias actively supports and applies the innovative Aquablation method in Greece.

He is Director of the Modern Urology urological team and a member of the urology team at Lefkos Stavros – The Athens Clinic.
He studied Medicine at the University of Crete and holds a PhD from the University of Patras. He specializes in laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as endoscopic urology, treating urinary tract tumors, kidney stone disease, and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Andreas Karagiannis is a Urologic Surgeon and Director of the 1st Urology Clinic at the Euroclinic of Athens. He specializes in robotic surgery and endourology – minimally invasive surgery of the urinary tract.
His research interests focus on the diagnosis and treatment of urological cancers. He completed his doctoral thesis on the focal therapy of prostate cancer using NanoKnife. In addition, he has participated as a principal investigator in significant international multicenter research protocols, such as the PREMISE clinical study on the effects of Enzalutamide in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer.

The Hellenic Urological Association is the official scientific body for Greek urologists, and its main purpose is to promote and advance Urology in both research and clinical practice. The Association organizes annual conferences, seminars, hands-on workshops, and educational programs, contributing to the development and dissemination of modern urological techniques.
